We had 2 birthdays!

Howdy Ya'll!! Here's what's new with our family right now.

Aisley started walking February 3rd! She has been walking around forever, but has demanded to hold our finger. She just chickens out and gets mad when you try to let go and have her do it alone. On the 3rd, her Dad came home from work and she was so excited to see him, I decided to set her down to see if she would walk. She walk all the way across the room right to him without any problems.

Aden and Aisley met Toot from the "Toot and Puddles" books at Character hour at the AF library.

Big boy Aden is now 3! Her is his buddy Handy Manny going for a bike ride with him.

Happy Birthday to you too Aisley. She also turned 1 on the 5th of this month. She is getting so big! She is so quick to smile at everyone and she loves to pose for a picture.

Christmas 2008

Christmas in Midway 2008!

The adorable Coleman Family

Aden asked Santa for a BIG NOISY TRUCK for Christmas.

We Spent a lot of time on the road this Christmas to visit family. We spent about 44 and a half hours total driving in the car (From Tucson to Utah, and then to Colorado, and then home). It was worth it to spend Christmas with our families.

Hanging out in Utah with Daddy.

We went on an amazing Snowshoeing adventure this year up at midway. There was was tons of deep powdery snow. It was so beautiful. It was really steep and a great workout. Christian got a little crazy on the way down and was jumping over logs and through trees.

We also hiked up above my parents house next to slate canyon. We wanted to "bag a peak". It was slippery and steep with big bulky winter boots on, so we made it to a lower peak. Still a pretty view of Utah Valley.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!!........and then let let's go back to Tucson where it is warm and we leave the snow behind.

ADEN WITH A FRO!

CHRISTIAN GOT HIS DEER!
Christian made me wear his hand gun in this leg holster when he was away hunting because of all of the Illegal allien hold-ups near our camp. We actually had 2 of them come into our camp to ask us how far the main road was our first night there.

November at a glance

We had a lot of fun last month! My sister's family came to visit so we took them to do a bunch of fun things here. We hiked among the Saguaro cactus in Sabino Canyon, we saw all of the planes used throughout history at the Pima Air and Space Museum, we checked out of couple of missions (Aden became a Junior Ranger at one), and we had a delicous early Thanksgiving dinner. We left Thanksgiving day to go on our hunting trip. We packed up our camper and towed it about 45 minutes south of Tucson. Christian got his deer and we had a fun camping trip as a family. We went on a hiking trip that would have been pretty cool if it weren't for all of the Illegal Alien Hold ups. There was trash and backpacks and clothes everywhere. It was gross and unlike anything we'd ever seen.

Happy Thanksgiving

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving! We just had the Thygersons (my sister's family) come and stay with us. We had an early Thanksgiving. It was great to celebrate with family and Aden loved having his cousins come to visit. He started crying when he woke up from his nap to find out that they had gone home to Utah.

Back from El Paso

We just got back from El Paso last night. We went for a week for Christian to train in an Army Combatives course. He said that it was the coolest thing that he has done since he joined the military. I checked out Ghetto El Paso (I thought Tucson was bad). Both Aden and Aisley were sick and had pink eye the whole week. It was interesting. Anyway, now we are back and I spent the whole day doing and Audit for the election. I signed up to do this a while ago and it is the longest I have ever been away from Aisley... maybe even Aden.

We went to the AZ State Fair and the Mesa temple last month and just got the pictures. Here they are!

Halloween

We had a fun Halloween. It wasn't the same as being in Utah or even Strasburg. After trick or treating at about 10 houses at 5:30pm and zero answers, we decided to go home and try again later. After it got dark, it got crazy. Lot's of teenagers trick or treating and everyone brought out the scary decorations and strobe lights. A little to creepy for a 2 year old and nine month old.
Aden started saying that he wanted to go home after about 3 houses.
Aden and Aisley have both had colds so we came home early and handed out candy to the teenagers. We got some cute pictures first!
